In little more than a month, Firefox has been downloaded more than 10 million times.

I just DL'ed it this morning... love the tabbed browsing!
I haven't played with it much yet, but I like what I see so far.
One question... how do you change the preferences so that a link opens in a new tab, rather than in a new window?

I think I saw an extension that addresses that.

Thanks to your previous post, I now use this browser exclusively and your tip for loading pages quicker is a hit, too!
Thank you.

This also doesn't count all the copies of it being spread on BitTorrent Networks, IRC servers, KaZaA(use kazzalite cough), and installing it from other people's CD's.

Wonder how much longer before monolopist Micro$oft integrates IE into XP so that Mozilla's chances to compete will be 0.

You also have the usage of the right mouse button and then in the resulting drop down menu you can select whether to open in a new window or a new tab.

Starting to look like an old time gunfight...how long before some young punk comes gunning for Firefox?

I'm sure it's on the drawing board. If it wasn't for this stubborn bank Website I have to go to now and again, I would have removed IE from my system completely.

I have been using it for the past two weeks and have noticed that web pages seem to load a little slower then they do in IE. Some push buttons on websites that work in IE don't work in Firefox. It seems that Firefox's pop up blocker works a little better than IE.

I tried it, but I prefer Opera.

I probably shouldn't discuss an issue I have w/Firefox (ver. 1.0), but I will anyway: the copy/paste function is not working. I can still use CTRL+C and CTRL+V for copy and paste, respectively, but I'd like it to work regardless.
At any rate, Firefox is way cool junior!
