Washington, DC, -- Sen. Hillary Clinton's hard-line against illegal immigration is seen by some as the Democrat's attempt to solidify support for a 2008 presidential bid.
Clinton, D-N.Y., who has received the liberal moniker for her efforts as first lady in the 1990s, may be trying to win support in conservative states by coming out against illegal immigration, the Washington Times reported Monday. In fact, the paper reported, Clinton's stance is more conservative than President Bush's, calling for an entry and exit ID system for immigrants.

When she ran for Senate, Giuliani said we'd soon learn that Hillary had played for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

All of us can HOPE that the Deaniacs "RossPerot" themselves and deny
Hit Rock Bottom With Hillary Rodham in 2008.
This is another nail in the Dem's coffin.
MoveOn.org must be having tizzyfits over this. Lol. Warms the cockels yet again.

She knows she has to make a hard right turn in order to have a shot in 2008. The question is will she go too far and open the way for a Howard Dean type to challenge her for the Dem nomination?

In fact, the paper reported, Clinton's stance is more conservative than President Bush's, calling for an entry and exit ID system for immigrants.Umm, don't we already have that? Don't foreigners have to have proper documentation in order to enter and exit the country?

(Now is the time to remove the leftist influence from the GOP. "Unity" can wait.)

Good! Illegal immigration is the nu 1 problem facing this country. If she can convince me she is sincere, she could get my vote. I never would of thought that possible before today. Better yet if she forces the GOP to take the position of the average person in this country and pass effective legislation before election year next.

Hillary will probably try to get Chelsea to join the Naval Reverves or Coast Guard. Look for photos of Hillary firing pistols (American big bores like the M1911 and Para-Ordnance P14-45). This woman is capable of even shiftier political moves than Kerry.

I don't think there is anyone in the Deomcrats party that can deny Hiliary the nomination. And the fact that she is gong to run as an "Iron Lady", (strong on defense, strong on borders and finscally responsible) should scare the hell out of the open borders, borrow and spend globalist GOP.
