Blackwell joked about a paper trail for the ballots for appinted electors to fill 2 absentees.
I think I just heard at least 100 heads explode over at DU.

OH Auditor asks if there will be a 'paper trail' for the ballots, Blackwell reports..
To: gopwinsin04
Apparently two electors are absent. They've been appointing two new electors so far.
Blackwell does seem to be making comments (exit polling, paper trial jokes) designed to get under the skin of DUers. I have to say that I heartily approve of that.

Paper trail? Glad to see they've kept their sense of humor.

Its the real election. There's no constitutional right of Americans to vote for President and Vice President. The constitutional provisions regarding the franchise simply state who the states may not deny it to. But if they decided to abolish it and name the electors themselves, they could do that. In the early days of the Republic, the state legislatures named the electors.

I hope Arneback and Conyers and Jackson and Bev Harris, keep getting the Dummies hopes up. I really wish I could come up with a scheme to scam those idiots of their money. Maybe sell nonrefundable tickets to the DU Kerry inauguration ball?

All of what we've been observing is ONLY the electing of the TWO NEW EC members for the state of Ohio.
They now have 20 electors as mandated.
They are now being sworn in.
