Here's the next target for Jerry Corsi, freeper, best-selling author of Unfit for Command, and possible candidate for John Kerry's Senate seat in 2008.

Also see Jerry's articles on Iran at WorldNetDaily.

Looks like he's building an institution instead of fighting the battles he started.

I would rather see the Swift Boat vets continue to uncover the real story about Kerry's discharge and commission a respected historian to write the whole story about American efforts in Vietnam, how they were undermined at home, what the relationship was between the leadership of the antiwar movement and the Vietcong, and the role that Kerry played in all of that.

I suspect that, like me, that is what the rest of the donors to the Swift Boat Veterans for Justice had in mind.

Corsi damaged the SwiftVets with his intemperate language on this forum, especially about Catholics.

He's now trying to save some face, hoping for short memories.

The group was accused of distorting the facts of Kerry's Vietnam War record….

But we at the LA Times are far too busy to provide you details of these alleged distortions. Just trust us.

The group also raised millions of dollars for television ads attacking Kerry, although the Bush campaign insisted that the group was not acting on the president's behalf.

The “insistence” of the Bush campaign denials obviously highlights their guilt.

The LA Times can’t write even the simplest article without slathering dollops of liberal spin crapola all over it.

No, he's trying to help overthrow the mullahs in Iran.

Have someone read you the article.

True, but we've all seen much worse from the Slimes.

I'll be working with Dr. Corsi on this effort, by the way.

Corsi was never a member of the SwiftVets.

I read the article. Corsi is not an effective spokesman for anything.

I prefer to let the President take the lead on overthrowing the mullahs.

Looks like he's building an institution instead of fighting the battles he started.

No, he's taking an approach that worked and applying it to another situation.

That's pretty much what the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth are taking. Jerry is a political expert and researcher -- he wasn't a Swift vet. With Kerry out of the way, at least for the moment, he's setting some new goals.

I suspect that, like me, that is what the rest of the donors to the Swift Boat Veterans for Justice had in mind.

You seem to have jumped to the conclusion that funds donated to the Swift Vets will be used for the new effort, which is not the case. Jerry is creating a set of new organizations that will raise their own funds to promote freedom in Iran, and to implement other political projects.

"although the Bush campaign insisted that the group was not acting on the president's behalf."

And this had what to do with the story? Don't give up peddling crap even though there is nothing to gain.

My donations had no strings. I trust these men to continue on doing their patriotic duty.

And if asked, I will donate again.
