Bible Verses In FNC's Holiday Ads Let's see if the Fox News holiday advertisements stir up a bit of controversy this month. Here are some comments from Free Republic today:

> "I was suprised to see a stained glass window, with the words of John 3:16...The next screen was 'Merry Christmas from Fox News.' I may be slightly off on the wording, [but] my jaw dropped when I saw the Bible verse."

I have not seen the ads you speak of, but it's amazing how far our society has fallen from God in just my lifetime (40Yrs). I hope this is the turn around and we realize how much our society depends on Him. BTW Merry Christmas.

I saw one of the ads last night just before turning off the TV and going to sleep. I was flabbergasted, I made some exclamation about reading John 3-16 on Fox News that was so loud I woke the wife!

Anyway, read your page...I finished 20 years with the Army in '96. It looks like the torch was passed to about as fine a crew of young men and women as we've ever had serving. Thanks for picking it up, Jay.

I've been forwarding the threads regrading the Fox Christmas PSAs from FR to everyone I can think of at Fox.

Fox has really been great since the election.

I've seen the ads and it is heartening to see them. I'm glad someone is showing the courage to take back our country.

I've made it a point to stop using greetings like "Happy Holidays" and "Seasons Greetings", and reverted to "Merry Christmas" instead.

Our salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord is the greatest gift of all!
