Yeah... Mrs. Mondello HAD to be for Kerry.
Raising Larry was just too big a chore for the poor woman... with her husband never home and little Larry's struggle with obesity. ;^)

Ward Cleaver was one of tv's great Dads.
Nowadays most tv Dads are buffoons while Mom and the kids have all the answers.

My kid just read this and asked, "Who is Ward Cleaver?"
As long as the left STILL doesn't get it, I'm happy.

I think Miss Landers would have voted for Bush, even though she was single and a teacher. On the other hand, both Gilbert and Whitey struck me as potential Kerry voters -- irresponsible punks who always whined when they got caught doing something wrong.

I predict eternal happiness for you. When anyone on the left "gets it" they become conservatives.
Wasn't it Winston Churchill who said something to the effect that if you are not a liberal when you are 20, then you have no heart, but if you are not conservative when you are 40, then you have no brain?

Gilbert and Whitey struck me as potential Kerry votersStanley Fafara... 'Whitey', died recently from a possible, drug overdose. For years he had struggled with drug & alcohol addiction.

Yes, I recall when that happened. And actually Miss Landers (Sue Randall) died many years ago. The guy who played Gilbert (Stephen Talbot) is a whacked-out radical who seems to regret any association he had with the show. He is also the son of old character actor Lyle Talbot, who among other things played one of the neighbors on "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet."

"Both Gilbert and Whitey struck me as potential Kerry voters -- irresponsible punks who always whined when they got caught doing something wrong."Im not sure about Gilbert...
Sure, he talked the Beav into climbing into that big ol cup-sign, and talked Beav into lighting up one of Ward's cigars, and talked Beav into phoning Don Drysdale long-distance....
If you ask me, Beav was dumb enough to vote Kerry, while Gilbert would have grown wise enough to have regarded such idiotic robotic behavior with distain, thus evolving into a conservative.
