I would like to share with you the results of a statewide survey that made me very optimistic about us taking the Lt. Governor's office in 2006.
As you may know, Senator Tom McClintock has recently announced his candidacy for Lt. Governor. According to the poll summary, below, Senator McClintock represents our best chance of putting a Republican into this crucial statewide office.
In fact, at this early stage Tom McClintock already wields widespread statewide name ID as well as formidable leads over potential challengers.
Feel free to share this with others!
What has the Cruzer done plus or minus?
Around Thanksgiving, he shows up at food banks and hands out turkeys that have his name on them to poor people.
Thanks capitan! I'll give everyone a ping!
Sweet news!

Yahoooo! Finally some good news. He's so well-qualified. Thanks for the info.
Thanks. I was starting to think I had perhaps stumbled into an alternative reality.
McClintock bttt
BUMP
I'm a huge fan of Tom McClintock and look forward to voting for him. I never believed he could win the governorship in the recall but he does stand more of a chance running against, say, John Garamendi in 2010. There is something I like about him. Unlike the consummate politician, Mr. Schwarzenegger, Senator McClintock doesn't give a damn about being liked.
He will challenge and take on the establishment in ways that Arnold never has and won't. I worry that that means he will never become Governor and I do believe that even if he does become Governor, he is likely to get defeated in four years. This does not concern me. I think a McClintock governorship could get more good done in four years to turn the California ship around than any other Governor has done in eight years since, well, since Reagan.
I will be voting for and supporting Arnold for governor but my heart will not be in it. In voting for McClintock... I couldn't be prouder. Run Tom Run!
BTTT.
McClintock in '06!
