NATALIE Portman has apologized for a quote in Allure magazine she says was taken out of context. "I'm not black, but I know what it feels like." The magazine got a flood of reader mail blasting Portman's insensitivity. Now she's backtracked. "If I had spoken more articulately, I might have conveyed what I truly feel," Portman writes. "I could never know what it is like to be a black American ...

Not at all. A vocal and staunch supporter of President Bush. Being born in Israel may have something to do with her position.
Thank You :-)

Natalie Portman supported the President? Here is one of many articles that mentions the opposite:

15xx was the AFSC for Navs and EWs

Funny you should say that. I guess I know how it feels to be black.

The attitude is still the same, to a certain extent.

So... uh.. care to explain what the brown-shoe days were all about? Some of us youngsters could use a... clarification?

I thought that was the Middle Class Blues.

It's been a while since I first saw Mull as the warm up act for the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Driveway Wilson was the opening act.

Another Hollywood (get-a-real-job) moron who doesn't know what she's talking about. These "new kids in the block" think to be Hollywood elite is to be outrageously outspoken about today's social problems and against conservative values.

Portman has been an outspoken supporter of Israel her entire life. Hardly speaking out against conservative values. And acting is a real job.

Ahhhhh, no. Although her real name is Herschlag (explaining a tendency to support Israel), I offer proof she's a leftie 'Rat . . . . note who gets her, ummmmm, "excited":

I was referring to a brief interview in our local newspaper, a wire service item, in which she clearly said she was supporting the President because of his position on Israel.
Now to the question of me being confused. That seems to be an ongoing thing. I have gotten to the point where I fail to zip up. That's alright. It's when I forget to zip down that I will stop posting on FR.

Portman is a Harvard grad

Judging from the rampant grade inflation going on at Harvard (and other Ivy League schools), just about anyone can be a Harvard grad.

Clinton "was the first black president" (and this idiocy was echoed once again on TV Guide/TV Land's (Viacom's) 100 Most Memorable TV Events) yet Elvis "stole" all he had from black America.

I know she's an anti-gun Hollywood leftie, but I'd bang her like a cheap gong.

Kathleen Turner: "Have you ever made angry love?"
Danny DeVito: "Is there any other kind?"

Screw this vacuous, talentless, airhead liberal spout. This is a very misinformed individual who takes her looks-based celebrity way too seriously. I have better things to do than listen to her statements and/or apologies.

Natalie Portman supported Kerry. Here's the proof.

Portman Campaigns For Kerry in Wisconsin

Where is your proof she supported GWB? We like facts here on FR, if you don't mind. No offense.
