What about network.http.pipelining.firstrequest? Should this be altered too?

Does anyone know how to make the "back" switch on my Logitech mouse change to the previous page like it does in IE?Look for the Control Panel mouse properties applet, should be in there, if not, not sure what else to tell you. I've got the MS Optical Intellimouse and I can manually set every button in Control Panel.

I noticed a slight change on dialup, but I would advise setting "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to something like double what it is, set it from the default of 4 to 8, otherwise you'll choke your dialup connection.

Change your file >> page setup from Shrink to fit to 100% or any desirable size.

I always thought that Firefox was faster than IE. anyway.
I tried this and it seems to work.
Thanks a bunch.

Does anyone know how to turn off password manager so the stupid password popup window doesn't show? My personal rule is to never ever keep any passwords on my machine if I can help it.
PS: been a FireFix (bird) user since about .6 release

I'm not the one with the printing problem. You addressed your post to the wrong person.

It may also depend on your ISP connection.
I made those changes and mine seems to load pages much quicker. I have tested a few very heavy graphics pages. They do seem to load much faster with those tweaks.

Tools/options/privacy
Expand the Saved Passwords arrow, there you will see a check box where you can turn the feature off.
