I love everything up until Senventh Son of a Seventh Son, after that, it get's a bit hit-and-miss for me.

Agree totally, but I'm not even really that fond of Seventh Son. I do like Dance of Death, but not much in between. A few songs here and there, but I don't have those CD's in my Maiden rotation.

At that time (1988) Metallica had released ...And Justice For All. Not one of my favs and seems to be the turning point for mainstream heavier metal.
