Ending a five-year tradition started by his predecessor, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger brought the word Christmas back to Sacramento.
Known for breaking the mold, the Republican governor is calling the 56-foot white fir outside the Capitol a Christmas tree. Former Democratic Gov. Gray Davis had renamed the display a Holiday tree in 1999. Schwarzenegger said the Capitol would have a Christmas tree as long as hes in office.

There's no such thing as a "holiday tree". It's always been a Christmas tree, duh. Anyone not celebrating Christmas: I expect you'll be working instead of taking a couple days off, ya?
Odd that they bend over backwards for everything the Mexicans want, except Christmas. Guess "religion" trumps "minority". Is there a list of what trumps what in the lefty handbook?
Just call it a Jesus's Birthday Tree.
Jingle that girlie men!
Good! Merry CHRISTmas Arnold and family!
Ditto Bump
Thanks Auhnold! It's good to know that some politicians recognize Christmas.
Did you see this?
Good for Arnold! Way to go! I've found that I'm getting tired of all the ridiculousness. When co-workers who have known each other for years and are Christians start saying "Happy Holidays" to each other, then it's getting ridiculous. I've started making it a point to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.
Been hearing about it on the radio all week.
Huzzah for Arnold!
Oops, don't do that --- wrong PC, or maybe I should type it "PC" now. :)
Nice place to visit, but ---
