But a consistent undercurrent in all the discussion is the assumption that what ails the party is not its ideas or its values but an inability to communicate those ideas effectively or to compete with the high-powered GOP message machine.

Oh, darn... they finally figured it out (wink, wink, nod, nod).

And the one question that still remains unanswered - what are RAT core values? Even they don't know...

A: The destruction of Western Civilization, to be replaced with a Socialist / Communist state with Leftist Cadres in charge.

Duh.

Happily, the Libs will not do the things necessary to compete:

Embrace Religion, National Security and Tax Cuts as good for America.

If they did actually reverse course on these issues, they would win, and be able to implement the remainder of their program.

Thank goodness they won't.

Howard Dean Kerry Hillary and the rest of them...they are all suffering from something...could be a psychosocial illness...or worse. They say stupid and often dangerous things such as this gem by Dean-o:

"I've waffled before. I'll waffle again"

Is Howard Dean crazy?

Perhaps. But as Ben Kenobi asked: "Why is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?"

Dean is the perfect choice to lead the DNC, with his Popeye forearms, his Olive Oyl bicepts and Brutus brain. Yes, Dean is crazy, but in the Democrat party, that is a plus.

Wolfson is a kool-ade Klintonite, and he wants to change the way the DNC chair is picked. So is Hitlery worried about Dean getting the job? You bet.

She'll try but she's not Bill. Let's not forget what a complete disaster her health care bill was politically for Bill.

The Democ Rat party has become purely a marketing organization and not a very good one at that.

They could try being a little more honest and call their positions "70's Liberal Classic". Or really be honest and call them "Failed Social Engineering" and "Conterproductive Feel Good Programs".

It wasn't for sKerry. It was the ABB vote. Which I might add, the media keeps forgetting.

"That "Baby Tax" thing is an real loser! It reminded me immediately of their nasty evil stance on legal Baby Murder."

You're right. It won't take long before that bites them in Shrillary's big fat behind.

A shame though. I wish they'd try it.

More important - WHOSE values? Howard Dean's? Al Gore's? Hillary Clinton's? Jesse Jackson's? This is a party in search of agreement, which keeps eluding them.

It's just like when the McGovernites took over the Dems in 1972.
