Just when I think the Democrats could not POSSIBLY get any stupider with their post-election tantrum, they go and prove me wrong.

Whatever happened to free speech?
This is exactly the kind of political speech the Constitution meant.
To: NormsRevenge
"that would ban all political material from public places."
The picture of the sitting President is not "political material" covered by some ordinance, it's the picture of the PRESIDENT of the ENTIRE US.

City Councilman Nelson Polite asked baker David Stoltzfus last month to remove the pictures.I'd put Nelson in a wrestling half-Nelson, and ask him to be more 'Polite' to shop owners.

I'm sure he would be happy to see a picture of Yassar Arafat or Che Guevarra.

"Stoltzfus, 54, of Lititz, and his wife opened the Upper Crust Bakery stand in March 2003. A Bush photo is attached to the stand portico and a photo of the president and first lady Laura Bush sits on a shelf.Lititz is the pretzel capital of America. In the mid 90s, I worked in New Holland (near Lititz) and used to visit Lititz frequently. My impression was that the locals were very conservative and hated Clinton. So, folks can vote with their pocketbooks in boycotting the town and this jerk will be voted out of office. The next time you buy pretzels, odds are, they come from PA near Lititz.
BTW, PA is the mushroom capital too. There are actually mushroom restaurants in Reading where all entrees and soups are mushroom based. We were surprised the ice cream didn't have mushroom toppings!

methinks you mistitled this, as it obviously should read "poor loser at farmers market causes row."

I think he should have a healing period after his face is kicked in.

Kind of ironic they guy's name would be Polite.
I'm kind of surprised about left-wingers in Lancaster. Perhaps the inner depths of the city are libs, but the county as a whole was big-time GOP when I used to travel through there.
Isn't it funny (well, not really, but spare me the rhetorical device) how "healing" for libs always seems to mean "Conservatives get subjected to social censorship"? Where I used to live, only the libs put offensive bumper stickers on their vehicles. It's not like this baker dude did anything patently offensive. It's just a picture, for pete's sake.

Lemme guess, Nelson M. Polite is a homosexual, card-carrying member of the ACLU.
"Begin" nice catch on the addy of the above mentioned commie. Fortunately I passed out before I could complete my expletive filled email to it.
I just wish there was a web site for the pro-Bush Amish supporters so I could buy some Christmas gifts through them.
I know they don't believe in that, so too bad, but thanks to them anyway.
Turducken is my far flung family web gift this year, but a touch of solid Amish patriot citizens wouldn't hurt.

Mr. Polite doesn't seem to realize that "healing" is not promoted by attacking a person's right to display a picture of his President at his place of business.

This demonrat P.O.S needs a freeping!!!
Look at his lib comment-
"I just feel( I will impose my will upon you, who cares that you are a fine, upstanding business owner?) that since it was a close election and the city's so divided, that we should have a healing period," Polite told the New Era of Lancaster on Friday.
The P.O.S. is true new age demonrat!
The rat ba$tards forgot to keep this one home in his cage, he somehow managed to slip out with part of the true agenda.
FREEPERS who live in the area, please honor this man by doing business at this bakery!
