In a unanimous decision Friday, the Indiana parole board voted to deny clemency to the country's most arrested man. But Virldeen Redmon, a 75-year-old who's had what seems to be a get-out-of-jail-free card for life, could still get out again. Nearly 400 arrests on Redmons rap sheet, nearly 40 are for drunk driving.

Where is the "three strikes-you're out" law when we need one! He is making a laughing stock of Indiana justice!
$20 says this serial crook becomes the next poster child for the ACLU and the Democrat Party!
In accordance with an old historical precedent, his case should be closed by drowning him in a barrel of wine. If one uses the cheapest California stuff, and also a smallish barrel, then maybe only 15 gallons would be needed. That could translate into $80 + barrel (to be washed and reused later). Now, how much does his every day in a slammer cost?
while 400 arrests is a very impressive or pathetic, number, it's the convictions, type of crimes, and number which actually count.
Put in a IV drip of Thunderbird, and he'll be gone inside of a week.
Let me sit heavy on thy soul to-morrow!
I, that was washd to death with fulsome wine,
Poor Clarence, by thy guile betrayd to death!
To-morrow in the battle think on me,
And fall thy edgeless sword: despair, and die!-- King Richard III.
How many times did the town drunk on Andy Griffith get arrested ?
He was mostly harmless.
He was not arrested, he just came in each night and locked himself in a cell.
oh yah that right !

He's had his driver's license suspended for life five times. In 1996, a judge sentenced Redmon to 9-1/2 years in prison. That sentence was reduced in 2001 and he was released after a doctor testified that Redmon suffers from health problems.
Redmon pleaded guilty in November to charges of driving after a lifetime forfeiture of his license and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was arrested on July 3 outside the Three Pigs Restaurant and Lounge after an Anderson police officer observed him driving.
...he had his driver's license suspended 33 times between 1947 and 1976 and his first life suspension came in 1977.
The appeals court, in upholding an 'aggravated' sentence upgrade, only noted over 400 arrests 'with many convictions'.
Also, it was noted that he only seems to need his oxygen tank in court, but doesn't take it to the bars; nor does he use it while incarcerated.
Out of all the articles I found, none cited his conviction record; only his arrest record. The scant mention of convictions was in a PDF of an Appeal Court ruling.
In any case, he is not a paragon of virtue, but is a manipulator of the system, and a habitual danger to anyone around him on the roads.
thanx for doing the research
frequent flyer miles at least
