Massachusetts gays divorcing

BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- Less than seven months after same-sex couples began tying the knot in Massachusetts, the state is seeing its first gay divorces.

Newlyweds seeking to renounce the vows they so recently took have been trickling into probate courts across the state, filling out obsolete forms that still read "husband" and "wife."

Josh Friedes, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Freedom to Marry Coalition, said the rapid divorces are no cause for concern.

"It would be wonderful if every marriage lasted until a couple lived to a ripe old age, but unfortunately we know from our heterosexual peers that all too often there are irrconcilable differences, and for these couples, divorce is often the most humane option," Friedes said. "Anyone who argues that gay and lesbian couples divorcing is grounds for opposing gay marriage is being incredibly hypocritical."

The first gay divorce case in Suffolk County, which includes Boston, was filed Wednesday by a male couple who exchanged vows on May 22, five days after same-sex marriage was legalized.

One partner was a 33-year-old religious educator from Boston, the other a 39-year-old professor based in Washington. Since then, the couple said in their divorce filing, "our interests have grown in different directions." Each man signed a settlement attesting that the marriage had "irretrievably broken down."

The most difficult part of the settlement appeared to be custody of their three cats, who will live exclusively with the professor.

But "in recognition of the emotional hardship of such relinquishment," the settlement reads, the professor agreed to provide his ex "with periodic updates, photographs, and any health-related information pertaining" to the cats.

"our interests have grown in different directions."

Translation: I signed him on the team as a wide receiver, but now he wants to play tight end.

When Michael R. Schiavo of Clearwater, FL, took possession of his disabled "wife" Terri's cats many years ago, he euthanized the cats, as he now continues with his plans to euthanize poor Terri as well.

Exactly how many same-sex couples are seeking divorces is not clear -- nor is it clear whether any gay divorces have become final -- because not all counties keep track of which divorce filings are from gays.

Wonder why they are keeping such good statistics on how many homosexuals marry but not on how many divorce?

Just as an aside, I've read that 2/3 of the homosexual marriages are between women.

Ham (Noah's son) was the first Homosexual.
He and his Grandson Nimrod built Babylon.
In the temple began the first Satanic worship.
Part of the ritual was killing babies and young children
To Molech the star god of Saturn.
Molech is the Hebrew word for the deity of the sun god
Ra aka Nimrod himself.
His evil wife Semiramis initiated the act of sodomy
as a ritual in worship to Nimrod and his reincarnate
Tammuz.(She faked the birth of Christ a foretold in Genesis.)
The men were soft and effeminate, were no longer men; they
had betrayed the honor of their sex; they believed they
must worship their god with impure lust.

so true.

One thing I've accepted in all this; these clowns have so gotten sooooooooooo used to 'defining' the issues (by creating a firestorm where none previously existed, then lacing it with their utopian sense of outrage at how we untermenschen conservatives can possibly not feel the pure rightness of their cause...) that they now believe everything that spews out from their mouths.

But We the People know what's going on - and as for these yokels, as they say in Vegas - let it ride!!! - their foolishness is but a veneer easily seen through by a growing number of Americans... and they disable their own recruiting via their voluntary depopulation (abortion).

They have one here in Buffalo, NY. I worked with two gays and one would enjoy making us sick in the break room with his "tails" of his weekend "trysts" in the bathhouse. I learned to take a later lunch real quick..........

Hey Ex-nav, that is, by definition. "indirect sexual harassment". Sue the $heet out of your employer..........

First, the employee must establish that he or she was subjected to unwelcome physical and/or verbal conduct of a sexual nature. Secondly, the employee must prove that the conduct was so severe or pervasive that it unreasonably interfered with the employee’s job performance, or that it created an abusive, intimidating or offensive working environment. What constitutes conduct of a sexual nature? It is understood that this includes sexual advances or propositions, but this term also refers to many other forms of indirect sexual harassment as well. The forms that such sexual harassment can take are as varied as a perverse imagination can create. Sexual conduct can also include pranks, threats and intimidation, sexual commentary and lewd humor, and sexual or pornographic pictures permeating the workplace. http://www.free-cliffnotes.com/data/ea/lfm237.shtml

I've contended all along that the real reason the Rats pushed gay marriage is it
will mean more work for their lawyer constituents.

As well as "wedding planners", marriage photographers, caterers, flower shops,
interior decorators, etc., etc., etc...

The percentage of homosexual marriages vs. divorces in that state, since May 17th 2004 must be very close.

What does that mean? The article says there have been 4,000+ homosexual marriages in Massachusetts, but they only describe two or three divorces.

"The article says there have been 4,000+ homosexual marriages in Massachusetts, but they only describe two or three divorces."

Do you think their Agenda will ever post true numbers? They have a vested interest in making their movement seem as natural as Apple Pie...not so.

Give it 6 months. Their divorce rate (percentage-wise) will be 60+%.
