Have you seen the Fox News Christmas ad yet? (Vanity)

I am somewhat in shock (in a good way). I just saw the Merry Christmas "ad" on Fox News.

I was suprised to see a stained glass window, with the words of John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." come up on the screen on TV.

The next screen was "Merry Christmas from Fox News".

I may be slightly off on the wording, my jaw dropped when I saw the Bible verse.

Now, I know Fox is "fair and balanced" although they lean a little left for my tastes, but I was really pleasantly suprised to see such a bold statement from a station that can be wishy-washy in their attempt to be "balanced".

I think they've been taken over by the rainbow 3:16 guy.

I haven't seen it, but I was told about it from a family member. Commendable boldness even for Fox, I applaud them for it.

Somewhat in the cynical vein, it's because they know who their audience is. The other networks also know who their audience is, and you won't see the same thing on those networks.

There are many of them and I love them.

Two years ago, the Wiggles on Disney spoke of Jesus and Mary during their Christmas special. I loved that too!!!

My favorite is their ad with "Joy to the World" as background music and some lovely classic religious art of the Christ Child and the words from Luke: "For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior" and the tagline, "Have a blessed Christmas from Fox News.
Halleluia!!! I've already emailed them how very much I appreciate it as a loyal viewer who pays a satellite bill every month just to watch Fox. And it's gestures such as this that makes it money well spent. Be sure to let them know you appreciate their loving treatment of Jesus's birthday.

I saw it last night and I was filled with Joy! Finally someone has the courage to thumb their noses at the ACLU and everyone else who is so PC that they are taking away the rights of the majority while giving every right to the minority. In this country everyone's rights should be protected and respected, including MINE! I was so sad as I left a major department store tonight and saw a sign on the door that said, "Be Happy." Sounds like an old song to me. MERRY CHRISTMAS to EVERYONE! AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THOSE WHO DO NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS! We are all loved!
