Splendid idea! And I think the Wiesenthal Center should do just that...the day that all mosques repudiate anti-Semitism and other hateful terrorism.

I'm with you except that I make it a practice not to spell 'allah', 'muslim' or 'islam' with capital letters. I've decided on "freedom of religion" for Christians and Jews. All the others should have to apply for permits.

We NEED intolerance for muslims in order to win this thing. We started losing wars once we got caught up in this stupid idea of being "respectful" and "sensitive" to the enemy's culture and/or religion. Before you can really beat their a$$e$, you have to give them demeaning and disrespectful names - Kraut, Nip, whatever.

That means I’m afraid of Muslims.

So I ‘m gonna go down to my Federal Courthouse tomorrow and apply for disability insurance moneys because, as we all know, phobias are unreasonable fears that are uncontrollable.

That means I have a disability, and I should not be held accountable for something I can’t control.

If I have this fear at work, they can’t say a word to me, because I’m protected under the Americans With Disabilities Act.

They are clearly targetting the wrong groups with their message. Perhaps they need to read this New York Times article: Muslim Scholars Increasingly Debate Unholy War, a few paragraphs of which include:

Muhammad Shahrour, a layman who writes extensively about Islam, sits in his engineering office in Damascus, Syria, arguing that Muslims will untangle their faith from the increasingly gory violence committed in its name only by reappraising their sacred texts.

First, Mr. Shahrour brazenly tackles the Koran. The entire ninth chapter, The Sura of Repentance, he says, describes a failed attempt by the Prophet Muhammad to form a state on the Arabian Peninsula. He believes that as the source of most of the verses used to validate extremist attacks, with lines like "slay the pagans where you find them," the chapter should be isolated to its original context.

"The state which he built died, but his message is still alive," says Mr. Shahrour, a soft-spoken, 65-year-old Syrian civil engineer with thinning gray hair. "So we have to differentiate between the religion and state politics. When you take the political Islam, you see only killing, assassination, poisoning, intrigue, conspiracy and civil war, but Islam as a message is very human, sensible and just."

I have read some of your stuff and was tempted to reply...discretion being the better part of valor (or lack of time...more likely...I did not reply).

I capitalize them because they are proper names. Forgive me, but I take the high road as pertains to language and behavior...

Islam and Muslims take the low road...even the Crusaders were surprised by that...they have no integrity, no love for truth. We must not follow them...IMHO, we must take the road that is natural to us...the high road...the true road.

We win by taking the higher ground...and that is where we belong.

The world calls on all muslems to repudiate terrorism.

My e-mail to CAIR:

"I read your article calling on the Wiesenthal Center to repudiate its comments. Give me a break. Islam, as practiced today, is the enemy of civilization. You will not be taken seriously until you condemn, every day, loudly, repeatedly, the widespread practice of terrorism in the name of Islam. But you don't. Therefore you must agree that beheadings are justified. If so, I say death to Islam."

I don't think Islam can be saved from the terrorists (not sure that it was ever possible...) They want us dead because we exist. In the West, only our weaknesses can defeat us. We should fight now, not leave it for our children.

I just realized why CAIR is coming out publicly. Its so obvious they want to be held responsible for the acts their Islamic Society commits in America. Hopefully they will be sued many many times and can compensate people until they are well beyond bankrupt.
