I would like to be able to post something profound like "This is a battle for the soul of the Democrat Party", but, well, you know...

....unless they pick Al Sharpton! Then either I'll have been dreaming or my prayers will have been answered!

"...message for the "professional election losers" who run the Democratic Party"...

As I count it, there have been 38 presidential elections since the Republican party became a national party in 1856. Since then, the Republicans have won the presidency a total of 23 times. The Democrats have won 15 times, or 39%.

Losing is a Democrat party tradition going back 148 years!

Yeah, I figured this was coming. The fringe element of dems, at least 1/4 of the party, are going to split off.

The entire left is going to be in utter shambles by 2008, if not 2006.

LOL! Perfect. Let Moveon.org take over the party; and I want Mickey Mooreon to be the front man, Jimmuh Cawthh to be their 'elder statesman', and Slick Willie the Stainmaker to be the pervert in charge.

Republican victory from here on out! :o)

"In the last year, grass-roots contributors like us gave more than $300 million to the Kerry campaign and the DNC, and proved that the party doesn't need corporate cash to be competitive," the message continued.

ROTFLMAO. Where did they get the cash? International corporate hustler George Soros.....Mega insurance industy CEO Peter Lewis....Film industry money bags, Steve Bing....

Grass roots my ass, albeit the 3 listed above are all very into "grass", they aren't a bit interested in any roots.

LOL! These guys have never accomplished anything. Anything at all!

" grass-roots contributors like us gave more than $300 million to the Kerry campaign and the DNC"
They can't prove they've given even a noticeable amount to anyone, and the media never asks themn to.

These media-beloved lying fools are the prefect heirs of the DNC!

a total implosion of the left. what the democrats need is reality therapy. maybe start by supporting the president while we are at war and stop acting like the american chapter of the talabon.

This is really good news for the Republicans - the crackpots have taken over the Democrat party. 2006 should be another banner election year.

This couldn't be better for us...a rift that contiues right down the middle of the party...center democrats will continue to sit out or move to us if the nutjobs at moveon and the Michael Moore's of the world continue to be the loudest voice out there...

Pelosi isn't even LIBERAL enough for the extreme lefties! Lurking on DU(mb) this afternoon, there was a thread trashing Nancy Pelosi for giving our troops in Iraq credit. I am serious! The dems on DU are beyond help! They even want to get an email campaign going to get her to resign. Incredible, isn't it? It's beyond all human reasoning, what they believe.

Under McAuliffe's leadership, the message said, the party coddled the same corporate donors that fund Republicans to bring in money at the expense of vision and integrity.

That's probably true. McAuliffe is a Clintonite, and therefore allergic to vision.
