I also resent having to defend myself as an accused commie because I came down on the side of our TROOPS. I think some people are missing the fact that for all the reporter's prodding an AMERICAN SOLDIER is the one who asked this question of his Secretary of Defense. The soldier is an adult fighting man with free will. He didn't ask to withdraw from Iraq, he asked for some equipment to do his job.

What you don't seem to understand, is what Rush pointed out today. Employee gripe sessions are normal and legitimate, but not with the embedded presstitutes there to practice treachery, report and twist and inflame the passions of the MSM to embarrass and smear the whole operation at the possible expense of victory... That is a good point and the media will never see it that way. Just about everyone I have ever deployed with always wanted the best, latest and greatest equiptment. We don't always get it so you have to make do with what you got. I don't blame the soldier and I didn't like the way he phrased the question. He should of came out point blank and asked if they were going to get extra armor for their Humvees.

Things go wrong in war, there are shortages, and you use what you have. All agreed, BUT we've been there years now, the story is not new, and this is the richest nation on Earth. Okay I admit that I misread your statement. Now define been there years when the war was started until March 2003. It will not be two years until March when the war was started.
