"After all the pleas by democrats to overhaul national security and CIA, four major Democratic Senators now saying they are AGAINST new, fully funded spy program!
They are -
Jay Rockefeller Richard Durbin of Illinois Carl Levin of Michigan Ron Wyden of Oregon
Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, the senior Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, complained Wednesday that the spy project was "totally unjustified and very, very wasteful and dangerous to the national security." He called the program "stunningly expensive."
Rockefeller and three other Democratic senators _ Richard Durbin of Illinois, Carl Levin of Michigan and Ron Wyden of Oregon _ refused to sign the congressional compromise negotiated by others in the House and Senate that provides for future U.S. intelligence activities.
This comes only days after CIA officers calling public attention to severe shortage of agents and new recruits.
War with terrorism requires human intelligence and CIA is almost the only agency providing valuable intelligence which historically saves billions upon billions of dollars in new weapon systems and defense."
Am I mistaken or was Levin interviewed somewhere last week complaining that the Republicans were stonewalling and that they MUST pass this bill, in it's entirety, right now!!

You are right. Almost all democrats were complaining just few days ago..
Turnabout is Democratic "fair play"
