Don't these girls care about anyone having a job? Being hard working? Defending them? Their children? They basically just want another woman...with equipment.

Here's mine: I don't care so much how he looks. He must own a gun, know how to barbecue, be willing to defend his home and loved ones with firepower (I certainly am), undertand and support the reasons we are at war and be a good, all-around family man. He musn't care too much about clothes and he must be relatively secure with who he is. No self-centered jerks or wimps need apply. :-)

You know what's really funny...

I'm the only conservative among my female friends. The refrain is the SAME THING: they always say they want sensitive, funny, evolved men who respect them and cater to them and blah blah blah bliddy blah.

They chide me for saying, "ALPHA MALES ROCK!" Although, ironically, I'm the only alpha female among them... go figure.

But, for all their mooning over the sensitive guys--they all fall, hook line and proverbial sinker, for every tough guy alpha male they see. It was especially evident when discussing movies: Russell Crowe in Gladiator, Arnold Vosloo or Brendan Frasier in the Mummy, Ciaran Hinds in Persuasion. Testosterone and hair ALWAYS wins over wire rim glasses, Birkenstocks and soy cheese.

It really is, despite what they want you to think, about which male is the better hunter and provider.
