1) I'm pretty sure you're joking, but I feel the need to comment that I love John Thune! I met him in his first term as Congressman. I was in a room where there were 8 Congressmen . . . the lobbyists and donors and such were oooing and awwwing over J.C. Watts. With them all over there, I was able to have a solid 20 minute conversation with Thune. Great guy! VERY down to earth.
2) And which of those states you just mentioned wouldn't go Republican anyway?
Yeah, I have nothing against John Thune... I'm sure he'll make an excellent senator and is a big improvement over that guy he replaced, what'shisname.
