Byrd is the perfect example of a senile old fool. He represents his party well ;o)

Him and Teddy "The Swimmer" Kennedy are the perfect (im)moral exemplars for the modern Democratic Party.

LOL. I keep on expecting to hear Dean Wormer telling Kennedy that "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

Not even sure of the context when he's been quoted or shown on TV this past year, but he has been shockingly intemperate in his comments. VICIOUS is the only word that comes to mind.

Will they follow their masters at the dnc and start with the "Uncle Tom" stuff or will they recognize what a great opportunity and honor it would be to have a brother as Chief Justice.

You know the answer to that. They will follow their masters at the DNC. No question.

The media virtually created Kerry. Not one old time media type ever asked him a hard question for over 16 months. Not one.

I was shocked, but not surprised, when Chris Mathews said the Swift Boat Vets "did not deserve to be heard." This loudmouth, who spent his Vietnam years in the Peace Corps teaching English and riding around on a motorcycle...and his own words "having a ball", dares to make a comment like that about veterans who served FULL terms w/the 3-month wonder (Kerry)and had medals to prove their merit, one even being a Medal of Honor recipient. Kerry's words and actions had impuned their HONOR...a word Kerry was and still is unfamiliar with.

Just so true. I don't recall ever seeing a candidate as propped up by the media as sKerry was. They gave him a total pass on anything and everything.

Just think how they'll shield Hillary.

I was just reading Peggy Noonan's article on Hillary as presidential candidate and how she's presenting herself as a moderate. The press will indeed give her a pass too.

I don't watch him either. My info about his remark came from a freeper's son's email. The college son had had a conversation w/Mathews and reported that Mathews had make that remark.

I've had it w/rude, uninformed liberal pundits who constantly interrupt and in Mathew's case, even dismiss their invited conservative guest (Michelle Malkin). Neither can I stand the noise on H&C nor the know-it-all O'Reilly. In lieu of not watching them, I almost qualify as an interior decorator from watching so much HGTV. LOL

LOL. I know what you mean about Matthews, O'Reilly and others. Right after the election, I've taken a long break from most of the television news and instead just read FR. Much more relaxing.

Since we moved south and got the HGTV channel and I've loved watching it in the afternoon and occasionally at night when I can wrestle the remote control away from Mr. Peach.

A claim of human cloning? It's been done before '78 announcement was ruled a fraud; new case awaiting validation 01/01/2003 The Washington Post For all the speed with which science was progressing, virtually no one thought it would happen so soon. Yet there it was in huge block letters on the front page of the New York Post: The world's first human clone had been born. The next day, The Washington Post and other newspapers across the country ran with the story about the rogue scientists who had cloned a human on an undisclosed island. A spokesman connected to...
