SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson, 38, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal damage for allegedly jumping on the hood of a car outside of city nightclub, police said Wednesday.
Tyson, who moved to Scottsdale earlier this year, appeared with attorneys at the city's police station Tuesday afternoon and was released after being given a citation. Scottsdale police detective Sam Bailey said Wednesday that Tyson likely will make an initial court appearance in the case within 10 days.
Police said the arrest stemmed from an investigation into an incident late last month at the Pussycat Lounge.
Tyson allegedly dented the hood of a car when he jumped on it as its driver was leaving the club around 1 a.m. on Nov. 27..."

Tyson needs to be locked up and they need to throw away the key. They also should lock up the judges and juries and Parole boards who let him out in the first place.

She probably paid Tyson to get arrested so she'd have backup if there is a slow court news day.

In an odd sort of way, I've always felt sorry for Tyson. He's clearly only barely able to function in society, and cannot do so on his own. He's mentally retarded, and that's not a judgement, it's an observation. He literally only has the intellect of a nine year old, or less.
He's been totally used by the people around him for his entire life. This, because he has a fist that can punch with the force of a Mack Truck.

If you are talking about boxing I must disagree with you a bit. The people who helped him on his career rescued him from thuggary and led him toward the heavyweight championship. It was when he got there and dumped all of his handlers for Don King that everything went to hell and he reverted back to thuggary and rape and assault.
I love Mike, I have no problem with him.
Circumstantially, I believe his rape conviction was incorrect, and he has a right to be angry about it.
He basically seems like a good man, and people only pick on him for having low intellect. The same hypocrites would be outraged if one made fun of the mentally handicapped, a condidtion largely of chance and not too different from that of Tyson.
