I get accused of being a CINO all of the time since I won't buy the whole cloth. Damn me, anyway! What am I thinking!?

So she was an editor of The Michigan Law Review once upon a time.
Good thread once again DollyCali. I have started her book Treason, but never have time to finish it!
A few found at google:

These guys make me crazy. They get a bee in their bonnet and *I* am the one who is nutty. I really don't understand the hagiography that goes on with Coulter around here. She looks like a colt, to my eyes.

"In a nutshell, naked vitriol and unchecked bellicosity aren't character traits that I admire much. If that makes me a CINO, so be it."

Thank for your response...

Let me put it this way:

Ann Coulter leads the charge up the hill to a political pillbox that's been blasting away at us unfettered for years. You can't sit on the beach in a fohole forever, son.

It doesn't make you a CINO, just someone who doesn't get it.

She is obnoxious. I say that as a woman. I miss Barbara Olsen. At least Barbara had class.

I love Peggy. So classy and what a wonderful voice she has, both speaking and in print.

"I can't stand her. She is obnoxious."

Yeah, yeah -- we heard ya the first time way back at post #6.

NEWS FLASH:

As you've been sipping away on mint julips out on your terrace all these years in your respective la-la-lands, the Teddy Kennedys and Dan Rathers of the world have NOT been playing by the Queensberry Rules.

Ann Coulter merely returns fire.

I freely admit I don't get.

I always operate from this simple premise: I want to make life better for Americans.

That's all Americans. Conservatives, liberals, blacks, whites, women, men, Catholics, Baptists, Unitarians, Atheists, all of them. IMHO, lower taxes, less intrusive government, fiscal reponsibilty, and a strong defense are the four cornerstones that are needed to build that dream upon.

Everyone benefits from lower taxes, even liberals. Liberals just don't always realize they're going to benefit from it, but that's ok, they'll benefit from it anyway.

Everyone benefits from less intrusive government. Freedom is a wonderful, if sometimes scary thing. The fewer government regulations to run afoul of, the better off we all are. As it stands, neither you nor I could possibly know even a 10th of those laws and regulations. It's not humanly possible.

Everyone benefits from fiscal responsiblity. Conservatives and Liberals alike live off the same economy. Like #1, liberals might not know that they'll benefit from fewer government programs pushing us into the red, but they'll beneift all the same.

A strong defense requires no explanation.

Now where that puts me at odds with Coulter should be obvious. I'm proud of the fact that conservative policies will benefit everyone, including liberals, and Coulter writes as though even the most remote kindness to a liberal hurts her physically.

So... why no little Annies? Being a celeb is ephemeral; get down to business, Ann.

Noble premise, but naively simplistic...

The fate of most Americans is not only in their own individual hands, but THE basis of a "better life" is the upholding of moral values, ethics, a common culture of language and respect for the law and Constitution.

Ann Coulter strikes, shocks, and awes with overwhelming intellectual force those whose agenda has eroded this basis for decades.

The long-standing unchallenged lies and subversions of the other side needs to be bludgeoned like a sledge hammer whacking the Berlin Wall. Ann Coulter understands this as well as many of us.

War is never for the faint-hearted. Make NO mistake about it -- to any political observer, America is clearly at war. With ourselves.

That's where we really differ. I don't see it that way at all. As I've mentioned here on freep before, my wife, the mother of my children, the love of my life happens to be of the liberal persuasion, and sorry, she's not the enemy.

Re: Your #7: Stow it. Coulter is dead on 99.9% of the time. Your claim that she gives us a "bad name" is ludicrous.

She has more "stones" than most chest-thumping Conservative men I know. You wanna step up........go for it, sparky.

"The love of my life happens to be of the liberal persuasion, and sorry, she's not the enemy."

Of course she wouldn't be...Of which might explain your own ideological conundrum.
