(Wolf Whistle) SW. Aren't you dashing! Be careful or someone might try to steal you away from Duckie.

Sorry for not responding sooner than this. I have a day job that keeps me very busy and completely out-of-touch with the rest of the world...
LBGA (aka Lynne), was a Georgia Freeper much beloved by every Freeper she met, I do believe. I met Lynne for the first time at the first Inaugural Ball in DC, and we soon found we shared much in common in our lives; and we chatted (in person and online) about those things and more. I valued her advice and words of encouragement. LBGA died in October 1 year ago, after a hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer. She was a friend to all she met, and she always had a positive and reassuring word for those around her - not a mean bone in her.

Hee-eey! I still have the hat - gonna bring it. You look smashing in that hat. Wish I could come, but I'll be looking forward to the pictures of the W2 ball. :)

LBGA passed away last year.....a great Freeper.....we lost too many great ones.....
To: tgslTakoma; bets; AGreatPer; gonzo
Thanks for the memories.
That was so much fun. We had the best party with the best people in DC that night. And of course we had the parties at the Eisenhower Holiday Inn and the lobby party until 4 AM.

LBGA passed on way too early. She died about a year ago from cancer at age 57 and left 2 young adult children. Her son is still serving in the military and is now married. Her daughter is also doing fine and is still happily single.
LBGA (Lynne) put in a tremendous amount of effort in maintaining the pictures of FReepers, was active on the streets doing FReeps, and was a real asset anytime anything needed to be done. She was a friend to all and will be missed by those who knew her and even by those who never got the chance to meet her. She is gone, but is not forgotten.

That was certainly a wonderful time we had at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria. Lots of great Freepers. And, the spirits that you provided did me in but it was wonderful since I just had to take an elevator to the room.
Our going to this ball is still iffy. I have a new roof going on tomorrow, yea I know the temp outside, and depending upon how much damage underneath will determine if I have enough money to go to the ball.
Always good to see you Badray and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
