I may not agree with their point, but I can kind of understand where they are coming from. Think about it this way, how would you like it if seminaries were turning out pastors that ignored Genesis and taught evolution only?

They don't teach the resurrection, inspiration of scripture, or anything else, either.
Pastors need to walk the walk. Science teachers only need be able to talk the talk. A good science teacher should be able to convince me Darwin is right one day, and then shoot me down for believing such horsepoop the next. But scientists these days have no use for real education like that. The fact that they want science teachers to BELIEVE IT without any serious questioning betrays the religiosity of the scientists these days.
