The two blue things are pointing directly at the bright light below the menorah. It's an optical artifact, something like a lens flare you get from the sun.

Its an flare artifact of the lens/camera. Notice the slight difference in brightness between the upper and lower images. The upper one is on one surface of the lens, the second is on the next surface.

So what's up with the menorah, when the kids in school can't even refer to Santa Claus, or Christmas, or Christmas trees, and I now understand that Ruldoph the red nosed reindeer is banned as the one verse contains the word Santa?
