Dear Freeper Friends, I would like to ask you for prayer for a fellow Freeper, fatima. Her husband had a heart attack yesterday, and I'm really sorry, but I don't have anything more than that.
Her little baby Granddaughter, Sara, is also in need of prayer. She's about 3 to 3-1/2 weeks old and has had to return to the hospital. She's had a spinal tap, a high fever and was tested for meningitis. Last I heard, she's not out yet.
fatima's got a PLATE full, to say the least! Any and ALL prayer for she and her family is coveted.
Thanks all!
Rosary Bump!
Prayers up or fatima's husband, and her baby grandaughter, Sara.
May God heal them all and give them a long and healthy life.
Kathy, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the update!!!!
I was SO worried when I hadn't seen fatima post!
Everyone else...please see #109...!!!
Prayers WAY up!
We lift up this family in need of Your healing hand of grace. Please restore fatima's husband to perfect health, erasing all damage to his heart. Lord, we ask this knowing that nothing is too difficult for you. We also pray for this new baby, that her body would be set free from all disease and trauma, and that she would be able to return home quickly to begin her life with her family. Father, You are the answer for all their needs. Hold fatima close and keep her strong as she and her family walk through these trials, arm-in-arm with You. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Prayers up for your husband and that grandbaby.
My son had spinal meningitis at one year old. He's now thirty and doing well. Prayer Power!
I'll be praying for Fatima's husband and granddaughter. God bless them.
Brad's Gramma,Thank you for this thread. It came as a surprise as much in life does.I thank all the posters and lurkers for thier prayers.Baby Sara was rushed to the hospital last monday. She tested negative for for meningitis but did have something life threating and was in the hospital for 4 days.It took four tries before they got the spinal tap from her.I was there for her birth and the nurse held her up and said here is Porky Pig.She was 10 lbs 5 oz.Now that she is home no one is allowed to touch her until she is 6 weeks old but we are allowed to kiss her feet, her new nickname is Your Highness. If she runs a fever she has to go back to the hospital and be retested again. She did have the Last Rites and was baptized in the hospital.
Ed woke up with chest pain this monday at 4 AM and got dressed and ready to go to the hospital and watched me sleep because he didn't want to upset me.I rushed him to the hospital and he is in crutical condition in CCU-is alert and aware. He had the last rites of the Catholic church tonight and has a cardiac catheterization tom. morning .They are saying minor heart attack but can not see the damage. He is aware of this thread and I will print it out for him.
You are all so nice and yes my granddaughter Karen returned from Iraq on Easter.
Oh fatima...thank you for letting us know the status on your dear husband, and baby Sara.
We've all been praying for your family AND you...that you'll have the strength to stay on top of this. PLEASE, dear friend, PLEASE try to get some rest. YOU need to take care of you, too.
I love you...we all do.
Hugs to Ed from his extended family, and kisses to Her ROYAL Heiness' footsies!!!
I feel stronger and am wide awake.Ed called from the hospital to tell me he loves me and woke me up.
Awwwww......what a nice man!
Prayers continue for Ed and for Her Highness!
And for you for strength.
It's great to know Sara is home and I hope her health improves by leaps and bounds. I know y'all can't wait to kiss her sweet lil face.
I'm also glad to hear Ed's heart attack was a minor one, not a major one. One of those small favors to be thankful for. I hope the doctors can get him home soon.
I'll echo Brad'sGramma's statement.....please try to get some rest. We don't want you collapsing from exhaustion.
*HUG*
Thanks lara, will kiss her little foot. Her 3 year old sister katie when asked how she has helped in taking care of Sara said"I got her bottle and I didn't hit her":)

I hope you manage to get some rest tomorrow, if you can't sleep tonight. You've had a lot on your plate and must be ready to drop.
Prayers continue til everyone is well. :-)
