Not that I don't believe in ghosts, but I think they are much rarer than people think because of the psychological factor. People strongly desire to have paranormal experiences, hence their mind accomodates them.
Iä Shub Niggurath! The goat with a thousand young! :P
Redmond? What about Washington DC?
So, you're saying you are a ghost bigot...calling the ACLU.=o)
I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert back in the late '70s. There might be something to that. But then again, there was some high octane smoke flowing through that arena... ;-)
Any of y'all know about any of these people who own haunted houses that are "willing to give them away to those folks who will stay one night," give me a call.
It is with the utmost gentility and persuasiveness that I come to you in my hour of need. I have recently acted as Executor of a large estate of the late owner of a large Ouija board corporation.
In order to facilitate the shipment of millions of dollars of Ouija boards to China I am required to post a bond of 2 million Senegal burpees (equivalent to a $1.50 US) for which I am unable to present.
If you could kindly forward the funds to my accountant in Mozambique, the honorable Flavor M. Puta, CPA, I should be most grateful by then sending you thousands of Ouija boards for your personal gain.
Please reply soon. Ghosts are attacking me nightly!
Skeptic BUMP!
You could get lucky and some fool would be separated from $65,000 (of other peoples money) to buy Gramps old cane!
Me too. Cleaning a home of evil spirits is a cake walk if you're a christian. I'd spend 10 minutes doing it for a free house LOL. Joking, if they were near enough I'd do it for them or put them in touch with someone who could. It really isn't that difficult unless you're just not a christian or pretending to be. Then cleaning it does no good, in which case you can go anywhere you want, they'll just follow. And they'll return as long as you continue in the things that give them right to setup shop in your house. But if they are determined to give away the house, sign me up. I don't sweat spiritual trash.
I've driven through the village(?) that is still there today: sad, so depressed - economically and emontionally.
Lovely ranchland (Near Badlands) but lots of JUNK everywhere.
I'm just amazed that we have SO many patriotic NA's at ALL, after the way Unca Sam has screwed them over for so long!
Then how is His second coming going to work??
Are the ones 'with Him' going to get placed BACK into their graves, so that they can "rise to meet Him in the air" with those of us believers who are still alive??
What was the phrase we all knew?
"If you haven't heard a rumor by 9AM; start one."
Matthew 10:5-85. These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.
6. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
7. As you go, preach this message: `The kingdom of heaven is near.'
8. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.Matthew 28:19-2019. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
AMEN Brother!!
That was NOT funny. I nearly peed my pants. LOL
Is that still open? I would stay.
Hmm, Melissa, sounds like you brought some of those demons, I mean, ghosts home with you.
Well...let's see it!
This is the pre/post millennialism debate. For those with a pre viewpoint these verses can be reconciled by interpretation of 1 Thessalonians 4 as the translation of our physical bodies into our spiritual bodies.
The thrust of these verses was reassuring the early Christians who were afraid that brethren who had died would miss out on the second coming.Remember these people believed it would be in their lifetimes.Paul is telling them that those asleep(dead)are indeed secure and we will be translated into our spiritual bodies together at the Rapture.
