Wow. Imagine going over to an Arab country and demanding they not observe Islam in public.

Wow. Imagine going over to an Arab country and demanding they not observe Islam in public. The Liberals would call you a mean-spirited Republican who doesn't respect different cultures.
But when you disrespect Christians, it's hunky-dory.

So France and Italy want to ban head scarves. Italy wants to take Christ out of Chritmas Carols. The US won't allow the mention of God in any publicly funded venue or event. We can not mention anything from any religion because it might offend people of another religion.
So the new rules are that the athiests get their way 100% of the time.

Take it easy. Jesus wasn't banned. The teacher just offered that Muslims could substitute another word IF THEY PREFERRED! And we all know how well it'd go over if we went to an Islamic country and wanted to substitute "Jesus" for "Allah," right?
We don't crash their Ramadan. Why should they get a say in crashing Christmas?

How insulting you think I would give the Koran any creedence do you? There is only 1 Book inspired by GOD Almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth and that is the Holy Bible, yes it was written by Man but I believe inspired by GOD The Tanakh and the Gospels all other spiritual books mean nada!

Is this one of those parody type stories. If there were no Jesus there would be no "Christmas" carol. This must be a joke.
I think it's time for all Koran ralated materials to delete any reference to Mohammed.

ROME - An Italian teacher's efforts to make a Christmas carol more acceptable to young Muslim students by removing the word "Jesus" has rekindled the debate over religious symbols in the Roman Catholic country."That's just one more example of exactly how incredibly stupid Europe is.
Meanwhile, there is only one region in the entire world where the practice of Islam has decreased over the last decade...everywhere south of the Rio Grande.

If there were no Jesus there would be no "Christmas" carol (sic). This must be a joke.If there was no God, would man invent God?
To: Prime Choice
Still doesn't mean that Jesus was banned.

I would like to demand one virgin for every sin per Muslim fanatic. I bet that would make them think twice about dying when they have used up all their virgins. Where do they go without their virgins? oh wait ... to hell the place their going anyway! lol
To: broadsword
LOL... I guess....I am sure all of Europe saw the Be-headings on the Internet and decided they better accomodate...

WOW! An area so third-world that even the seventh-century savages don't want it. LOL! I'm glad I live NORTH of the Rio Grande!

"It's a religion of peace, and we'll kill you to prove it!" Maybe we can translate that in Latin and have a tagline, hehe.
Is est a monastica de pacis, quod nos mos iuguolo vos demonstro is!
To: malakhi
no i can't
but in the scheme of war you use every thing available to defeat your enemy, you do believe they are our enemy don't you? and if the word crusade has a psych effect on them then a crusade it is. and in whose name are we killing in in iraq, or on the war on terror anywhere.
we are defending our judeo/christian way of life are we not?
as G.W. said "with us or against us" if thats the case than i would be just as happy to kill them in the name of George Bush, as the leader of my country.
