"It's a bottom of the range number," Martin said.
A rock-bottom number.
California was part of Mexico for only a brief period of time after Mexico broke away from Spain. California's roots are Spanish (Spain) and North American Indian.
Here's what gets me about licenses for illegals. Don't they have to provide a valid address, social security number and name? If they do provide a valid address, why aren't they picked up there?
If they don't have to provide valid data, can't I also do the same?
We have to kep Emailing almost daily until this gets responded to and they start to remove or get federal recourse for illegals.
If we are getting cheap oil from Mexico, the fact we pay ten cents a gallon more in CA sure doesn't show ANY benefit to us.
You can do the same but somehow they'll "find the resources" to prosecute you if you're a citizen.
Your points are probably right on but I don't think that Mexico's people consider the length of time of possession to be as significant as the question... "who was the taker and who was the takee"..and whether this was a consensual taking or a hijacking...either way, I honestly believe that the citizenry of your fine country have a huge problem that is just starting to erupt like St. Helens and unfortuneately will not be ending anytime soon
What you say is true. Many people from Mexico view California as theirs regardless of history. California Indians take offense to the idea.
"The Beast"! I love it.
I'll never forget how much I enjoyed her being booed at the Concert for NY after 9/11. Ancient and silly history I know.
She reminds me of Miss Piggy of Muppet fame minus the charm. Even has the same legs.
We sort of knew the Republicans would be silent on illegal immigration when we voted for them. I think they have about 15 true Americans in the House who fought for controlling illegal immigration. They were overwhelmed by Bush's push to destroy the country by using Mexicans instead of Islamic terrorists. I guess I won't be so dead if the Mexicans kill me, will I?
If you want a Republican Congresscritter to take your calls, you're going to have to learn Spanish. His maid, Carlita, doesn't speak English yet. But she keeps Mrs. Congresscritter's porcelain bathroom fixtures glittering white. You wouldn't want a rich Republcian wifey to have to scrub her own toilets, would you?
Stuffing their pockets with pesos.
What flavor is the koolaid?
Don't forget Jose the landscaper working in the front yard.
it would seem that the realistic medical expenses would exceed $1.3 billion...figure w/ worker's comp, regular family medical, emergency services, ect....any data available on that yet?
(or did I miss something?)

All the area in question was land claimed by Spain which had belonged to various Indian groups before then. In much of it the government of Spain was inventing American types in --- giving them land grants -- because it wanted the area settled and Mexicans weren't willing to come here --- after Mexico became independent from Spain it mismanaged the northern territories so much that it couldn't hang onto them. Areas like Texas were under Spanish rule for many years, and now under USA rule for many years --- but only 25 years under the Mexican government. So it's a very weak claim they're making on this territory.
Of course not --- but let's make her pay for her servants herself --- she can have the servants only if she's got health insurance policies, pays into Workman's Comp and Social Security for them --- and if those servants bring over or start reproducing, let that employer pay for their schooling and health care.
Those who reap the benefits of having these servants need to start paying for them and stop dumping the costs onto the rest of us.
"The California Legislature does care. They want the border eliminated totally."
Maybe those early warnings about a NWO were true. According to NWO plans, both the Mexican border and the Canadian border will be done away with to create the "Americas."
Sorry, I don't like koolaid.
