Christmas is THE NEW C-WORD by: William Donohue,, December 02, 2004
Parents in Maines Scarborough School District say that efforts to ban Christmas have become so extreme that they now refer to Christmas as the new C-word. In nearby New Hampshire, things arent any better. For example, the principal of Epping Elementary School boasts that his school raises money for the needy, but we dont call it a Christmas gift drive, and thats because its a time for giving and thats pretty much universal. But if thats the case, why choose December as the gift-giving month? Similarly, why is December a time for giving? His counterpart at Newfields Elementary is so wound up about Christmas that he actually said, weve tried to distance ourselves from religion and world events. No doubt hes been a smashing success.
North Carolinians are no strangers to the C-word, either. At a recent Charlotte-Mecklenberg school meeting of parents, Rose Hamid, who heads a group called Muslim Women of the Carolinas, expressed her enthusiasm for censoring Silent Night in the schools. She won. Joy to the World was similarly banned, though apparently the parents were stumped on what to do about Jingle Bells: some said it was okay, but others were smart enough to say that the song is still linked to Christmas.
The schools in Maplewood, New Jersey have prohibited the singing of all religious songs, leading some at Columbia High School to question whether Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was also verboten. City officials in Denver will allow Merry Christmas lights this yearfor one last timebut will go with Happy Holidays starting next year.
This is only the beginning of the Christmas season and already the anti-Christmas crusade is in high gear. In the name of separation of church and state, they distort it. In the name of diversity, they crush it. In the name of tolerance, they obliterate it. Which is why we need to call them for what they arecultural fascists.

I could have sworn Conservatives and GOP won on November 2, 2004!
It seems Lefties are going on the offense in a classical political guerrilla Warfare strategy. They lost because America is a moral nation, so they try and destroy our Morals. We need to strike back and take away what they values. They want to eliminate Christmas lets Eliminated Sodomy. They try to slap us we should PUNCH them back.
I am tired of having to defend the Right Values. Why dont Leftie DeGenerates have to defend their SICK values?
President Bush should use some of his political capital and get some Real Conservative Judges Passed. Somehow I have the feeling we wont see that instead we will see a Moderate or David Souter type nominated. If that happens in 2008 Conservatives need to whack the Bush and forget JEB and go with a Real Conservative nominee.

If I had children in that district, I'd tell them to say Christmas in a sentence at the top of the hour, every hour.

Communists don't win elections. They subvert. They manipulate. They divide. They destroy our way of life from within the system. Iraq isn't the only country with an insurgency issue.

I'm really getting sick and tired of a vocal few dictating to the rest of us through a sick liberal court. On what the rest of can celebrate. CHRISTMAS has always been a CHRISTIAN holiday if they don't like it let them celebrate what is pertinent to their religion. No one is forcing them to conform to anyone else, if they don't like it tough S__T.

That is exactly what I was thinking.
I would have them say it to the point of expulsion.
Then I would sue the bastards for violation of free speech.
Any history buff knows, that this type of stuff is exactly what happened in Rome.
Christians were mocked, spat upon, and look down upon for merely being Christians.

Yes, and then the Christians took over the Roman society. The Vatican is still there, as a remnant of the Holy Roman Empire. History is good, but only if you actually know it. Your parallel is flawed.

Anti-Christmas is anti-Christian. THAT is the basic motivation of the anti-Christmas movement. The non-Christians who push this issue are passionately devoted to obliterating any mention that this is a Christian nation founded by Christians. For them, it is not enough that we let them worship as they please. Instead, they insist on dictating to the majority through the judicial system that their relgion/morality is equal to ours, and deserves equal time, even though Christiannity is by far the most common religion in this nation.
It is time for this Christian Majority to speak out. It is time to take whatever action is necessary to reclaim our religious birthright. The appointment of Christian judges, the exercise of our consumerism in Christian-friendly stores, and the forceful maintenance of the term "Merry Christmas" is just a start. Tyranny of the minority must NOT deprive us of our major Christian Festivals in public life!

Sure they have.
But it would be unacceptably "judgmental" of them to draw any obvious conclusions.
Self-delusional pukes.

This is why the Catholic League has put out stickers for store windows for stores that are "religious display" friendly.Great idea.
