I know plenty of Mexican Catholics who have pictures of Christ on everything from ashtrays to bars of soap to their drinking glasses. They own and use these items without any sense of irony or sardonic self-conscious sneering.
If you're a Believer, you may want to be careful about insulting other Believers.
