It’s that time of year again. Lighted snowflakes adorn once-bare telephone poles, evergreen trees appear to grow from concrete, and bells jingle repeatedly over store intercoms.

Does Santa love all children? Even Jewish and Muslim children? Why do some students have Christmas trees while others have dreidels and menorahs? Why do some children have neither trees nor dreidels?

The schools need balance only ONE tradition, the tradition of the American culture. CHRISTMAS!!!

If the parents of the immigrants/minorities don't like it, keep your kids at home!

If the immigrants/minorities don't like it, then leave the The United States, and don't come back, ever!

Whatever happened to people like my great grand parents, assimilating into Americans?

When did that become other than the norm?

Does Santa love all children?

I would guess that Santa only gives toys to those who celebrate Christmas. Not too hard to figure out.

The part about celebrating ramadan made me want to retch! Celebrating ramadan is would be the equivalent of celebrating Hitler's birthday or Hirohito's birthday during WWII! Have these idiots forgotten that the enemy is Mohammedanism? Gad....

Last year’s celebration opened with a druid deer dance. . .

You can't make this stuff up. Or would want to.

The percentage of people in the US who consider themselves Christians is around 76% Why do Christians continue to roll over for the ACLU?

Imagine going to Saudi Arabia and insisting they not mention Ramadan!

a phoney-baloney bogus issue. I work with a bunch of Hindu software engineers, and not one of them has ever raised any objection towards Christianity or Christmas.

Actually, I just read the other day that 57% percent of Mexicans are Christian.

I don't have a source. Sorry.

That's an excellent question!

I need to assume, and rightfully so; those seeking residence here in the greatest nation in the world do so because opportunities exist here that do not exist where they come from... However, these opportunities exist because of how we chose to define ourselves (America).

America does not need to redefine who we are or apologize to anyone for it! So I say welcome to ALL immigrants/minorities who want to establish residence in the U.S. and become a constructive part of our society as it's already intentionally defined. Otherwise, see my first post, be offended, pack your "baggage" and get the hell out of the U.S.!

I guess that "damn 1 percent" is smart enough to know where to go to effect change; just wish I were smart enough to know where to go to circumvent it.

The anti-Christmas campaigns are essentially anti-Christian campaigns. This "Happy Holidays" propaganda is NOT designed to celebrate diversity; it IS designed as a slap at Christianity by the non-Christian.
American is a Christian Nation, founded using Christian ideals by Christians.

American schools should only be concerned with American culture.
