The American Civil Liberties Union is engaged in a long-term, relentless and well-funded campaign to remove every vestige of Christian expression from America's government, schools and public property.
But that much you already know.
What you probably don't know is that the ACLU is using your money to do it such as when it received close to half a million taxpayer dollars after successfully suing to have the 10 Commandments removed from Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore's courthouse.
That's the stunning, in-depth, investigative story told for the first time in the December edition of WorldNetDaily's monthly Whistleblower magazine, titled "EXTORTION: How the ACLU is destroying America using your money."
The headlines assault us daily: "Silent Night" can't be sung at school; the Defense Department must stop sponsoring Boy Scout troops; a tiny Christian cross must be removed from the Los Angeles County seal; Nativity scenes on a courthouse lawn are unconstitutional. Americans' heads are spinning, as they wonder what the next judicial outrage will be: Removing "In God We Trust" from U.S. currency? Firing all military chaplains? Expunging all references to God in America's founding documents?
More than any other group, the American Civil Liberties Union founded by avowed communist Roger Baldwin is behind what many are calling a legal jihad against public expression of the Christian faith in America.
And though most Americans have heard some of the legal horror stories, very few understand what the ACLU really is, how it operates, what its real agenda is, and where it gets the massive funding that fuels its constant lawsuits and intimidation strategies.
The December Whistleblower, perhaps for the first time, rips open this powerful organization and shows how it uses little-known laws, threats and extortionist tactics to legally wrest money from its victims especially the unwilling taxpayer. Most importantly, it shows how Americans can actually fight back and defeat the ACLU.
Partial contents of this special issue of Whistleblower are:
* "The ACLU Money Game," by Sherrie Gossett, a groundbreaking and in-depth investigative report documenting the "legal extortion" that keeps the group's coffers full.
* "ACLU founder: 'Communism is the goal,'" by Joseph Farah, revealing the group's shocking roots. ACLU founder Roger Baldwin, who zealously sought to recreate America in the Soviet image, once said: "I have continued directing the unpopular fight for the rights of agitation, as director of the American Civil Liberties Union. I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."
* "ACLU fulfilling communist agenda," by Devvy Kidd, showing how, to this day, the controversial organization is fulfilling specific goals of subversion.
* "Buying the 'big lie' of church-state separation" by David Kupelian. How did ACLU radicals and activist judges manage to convert Christianity the original basis of America's laws, culture and institutions into a forbidden behavior? This in-depth examination shows exactly how, when and why Americans "bought into" the unconstitutional myth of "the separation of church and state."
* "700 lawyers ready to fight ACLU lawsuits," profiling how one legal group has mobilized hundreds of attorneys to protect the nation's schools from the ACLU "grinch" during this Christmas season.
* "Apartheid humanism" by Joseph Farah, an insightful look at what separation of "church" and "state" really means for America.
* "Taliban come to Los Angeles" by Dennis Prager, in which the well-known Jewish commentator reveals the real reason the ACLU is threatened by the tiny Christian cross in the Los Angeles County seal.
* "Former ACLU attorney now crusades to de-fund it," by Rees Lloyd. Once a staff attorney for the ACLU of Southern California, and honored by the group for his "pioneering efforts in the area of workers' rights," Lloyd is today pioneering a very different effort one to stop the ACLU, which he calls "the Taliban of American liberal secularism." Lloyd points to specific legislation that will if passed stop the unwilling taxpayer support of the ACLU once and for all.
"The ACLU is never going to change," says WND Editor Joseph Farah. "It is an anti-American organization. It is a group that seeks to destroy all that makes America a unique experiment in freedom. It is an organization in league with all of America's enemies. It is an organization that hates God, hates what is right, decent and morally upright."
"If you want to stop the ACLU for once and for all," adds WND Managing Editor David Kupelian, "you really must get this issue of Whistleblower. It's got the information you need to starve this organization of the money it needs to survive namely, yours."

I wrote my rep on this subject for all the good it will do. I have been fed up with this bunch for a long time and want to see this bunch of communist gone.
This is important. I will bookmark to read later.
Whatever the ACLU's agenda is, this is NOT what the First Amendment was intended for. Every Christmas season we have to go through this. I think Joe Public is finally getting frustrated enough to counter the ACLU's actions.
This is one reason why the Democrats keep losing.

The ACLU and the public fool school system (another plank of the communist manifesto) has done a wonderful job in dumbing down Amerika.
The people are gleefully marching head long into their own destruction.
#2 is protecting the Islamofascist Jihadists in America who would destroy our America.
#3 is the communist agenda.

The NY school district limits the religious expression of Christian students but is allowing Muslim students to skip class to observe the month of Ramadan.
The New York City Department of Education has given Muslim students at Brooklyn International High School permission to miss class four consecutive Fridays to observe the Muslim religious holiday.
The district's actions suggest that it is employing a double standard including a New York City School System policy barring nativity scenes during Christmas, but permitting the display of the Jewish Menorah during Hanukah, and the Islamic star and crescent during Ramadan.
Students are allowed to worship during the Ramadan period but the same opportunities are not afforded Christian students during Good Friday, for example, suggesting there's probably some diversity in terms of the way they treat Christianity compared to these other religions, which is the unsettling part of all this.
Providing students with a reasonable accommodation to exercise their religious freedom is a good thing -- as long as this is done fairly.
The Establishment Clause requires the government to be neutral towards all religions but the NY school system is claiming that, while there's a lot of Christianity and a lot of Christian symbols, the schools are trying to create parity.
The problem with this policy is that the school district seems to be trying to create an affirmative action prong to the Establishment Clause, that isn't there.
In fact, the government is obligated to remain impartial and to treat all religions equally.
In the New York City Public Schools, they're certainly not treating Christianity the same way. They downgrade and marginalize Christianity, and exalt Judaism and Islam.
In 1976, Congress passed the Civil Rights Attorneys Fee Awards Act, which was designed to encourage private lawyers to take on suits to protect civil and constitutional rights. The law provides that judges can order federal and state governments to pay legal fees to private lawyers who sued the government and won. The result has been a flood of civil rights cases in federal court. From The New American Feb. 2, 1987
It's an outrage that US law, passed during the Watergate era, allows the ACLU to collect attorney's fees for makework----Christian-hatng lawsuits it itself launches.
That means "values voters" have been footing the bill for the ACLU's launching a juggernaut to remove Ten Commandments images, Christmas creches and Christmas carols, taking God out of the Pledge of Allegiance, and because they claim they have a civil right not to see the Ten Commandments, a civil right not to hear the word God in the Pledge of Allegiance, not to see a creche of the Baby Jesus, not to hear Christmas carols. The ACLU has collected a huge amount of our tax dollars in this left-handed fundraiser for the ACLU.
FReepers can silence the ACLU with a bit of activism. We need to insist our Congressmen repeal this abusive law that allows the ACLU to get rich on harassing Christian America. Congress must repeal laws enabling the ACLU's Christian-hating activities. Cut off the ACLU's funds and watch them disappear. Here's what we can do.
The IRS should determine whether the ACLU is properly accounting for all its tax-funded activities, whether it is inflating legal costs, and whether it is using tax dollars for the purposes stated. We need to know whether the ACLU is engaged in Enron-style accounting and spending practices.
REFERENCE SOURCE FOR ARGUING REPEAL TO CONGRESS
Apparently, when Congress contemplated the fee-shifting bill three decades ago, it never conceived that 42 U.S.C. §1988 would be used to secure fees in esoteric battles over the meaning of the establishment clause of the First Amendment.
The statute gives a court "discretion" to award attorneys' fees to the prevailing party in civil rights cases.
Study of the legislative history of the statute reveals that Congress intended this statute to apply to civil rights abuses, including certain race and sex discrimination cases, but not to arguments about whether Judge Roy Moore is allowed to display the Ten Commandments in the Alabama courthouse.
During the deliberations on the bill, the Senate penned that "in many cases arising under our civil rights laws, the citizen who must sue to enforce the law has little or no money with which to hire a lawyer."[6] In the recent First Amendment lawsuits filed by the ACLU, the tables are turned.
Small school districts and municipalities can either defend lawsuits and risk paying the ACLU's attorneys' fees if they lose, or they can voluntarily submit to the ACLU's view of the Constitution.
Even if lawsuits over the establishment clause somehow fall within 42 U.S.C. §1988, the statute empowers courts with nothing more than "discretion" to award fees.
In these cases, one would expect courts to withhold awarding fees. Since this is not happening, Congress must take immediate action to clarify 42 U.S.C. §1988 to explicitly exclude lawsuits related to the acknowledgement of God.
Thanks for info!
It really adds insult to injury to know this, doesn't it?
This is almost as offensive as having to pay the salaries of Bill Moyers and Nina Totenberg.
The ultimate insult, of course, with regard to this ACLU thing is that we really aren't just paying once for these cases...we also pay for the local governments to fight back if they choose, wo we're really paying double for it, and even if the ACLU loses, we still pay.
The quirk here is truly an outrage. Let's work to close the loophole. While we're at it, how about killing that tax-exempt status, as the ACLU is obviously not a non-partisan organization.
