and to you too, friend. it's a joyous time of year.

we remember our young men and women abroad, doing tough work, allowing us to enjoy these wonderful freedoms! it's because of the vision and courage bush exemplifies that has brought this eventful and homeland peaceful 2004.

a big Whoooah to the troops. thank you just isn't enough. enjoy the pics. i've got more if you'd like... just drop me a line offlist and we'll send you some personalized photgraphic joy!

wow, small world.

the fam lives out that way and i used to visit this church when i was much younger. it's maternity bvm's old church, in ne philly, right off old bustleton ave.

what really got me about this one was the shadows from the branches in front. the shadows show brilliantly!

ps: and for those friends who get annoyed by the date imprint --hey, i;m getting old and need to be reminded ;)-- it was cropped right off when i prepped this one.

enjoy.

I finally had some time this evening and posted the "spontaneous" shot of the DC monuments as they appear from across the Potomac (actually from the grounds near Reagan National). See http://community.webshots.com/user/luzsa2004 and choose the "washington dc" album

BTW, is there a website we can post pics for our troops to browse so they can enjoy a bit of home? If you'd rather reply off-list, please do so. Many thanks in advance! -Andy

folks, finally got to the last batch. a couple of the lincoln monument, supreme court, capitol and a few new ones of the white house. see http://community.webshots.com/user/luzsa2004 and click "washington dc"

btw, the sun shining in front of the white house is a favorite ("washdc18"). also, with the supreme court in the news, posted an artsy shot.

it's been raining, but hopefully it'll clear up and we'll catch a few more shots.
