You're right, there isn't a huge movement of women looking for foreign men with MORE domineering attitudes than they could find closer to home. Me, I found a good man right here on Free Republic. You bash American women on the very forum where many good single conservative Christian women are.

Ah, no, but I may sart bashing some with difficulty reading.

I haven't claimed that these are problems with all American women, nor have I bashed anyone here. The trend of foreign brides looking for American husbands is about more than just domineering jerks looking for women who ain't uppity.

Japanese women who marry American men may be in for a rude awakening. I've observed that many American men who marry Japanese women do so because they expect them to act like submissive maids, something American women gave up long ago.

A young eligible man in my family who travels to Japan frequently on business might marry a Japanese businesswoman. She may indeed be in for aforementioned rude awakening. LOL
