The fact that the background of the convicted double murderer's family and the effect the Death Penalty will have on them is not admissible has more than likely explained the family, but I think the Judge is allowing it for purposes of appellate record only.
I just about sick of it tho.....

Freak show is right!! I stayed home to perm my hair today so I was able to listen to CTV. Gaaaaaawd those Jurors must be going nuts!! This is excrutiating.

Oh, I don't know, all of those famous murderers have their good side. John Wayne Gacey's neighbors used to remark about what a great guy Gacey was. One neighbor remarked, "Yeah, ole John was always friendly. No matter how busy her was. Why, he could be burying people in his yard, and he always have time to smile and wave and say hi."
