Family, friends plead with jurors to spare Scott Peterson from execution
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Scott Peterson's brother, sisters-in-law and former schoolmates took the stand in the penalty phase of his capital trial Thursday and urged jurors not to sentence him to death for the murders of his pregnant wife and unborn son.
"I would be devastated. I can't even imagine. I'd be wrecked," said his half-brother, John.
Staring toward the defense table, he added, "My little brother, I love him."
Another witness, Aaron Fritz, a friend of Peterson since high school, said a verdict of death "would be a horrendous tragedy. It would be a terrible loss of a friend, of a brother figure in my life."

Wow that's neat!! What the heck did we do before the internet huh? I met a couple from Austin Texas on the internet, on this site actually. We corresponded for about a year and a half. During that time we talked on the phone for hours. Then they invited me to visit and I did. I was in Austin Texas for one week in November, 2001. I almost didn't go because I was too scared to fly. It turned out not too bad tho. LOL My kids were shocked at me!! I actually felt like I knew them and was quite comfortable going. I didn't have the same reservations as my kids. " But Mom, they could be axe murderers"!! FOFL Actually, he's a Forensic Psychologist and she's a homemaker. They were wonderful hosts. The week was far too short. It was a great experience.

Today was outrageous. And tomorrow they are gonna get another 10!! This is craaaaaaaapp. Like hipwader deep.

Isn't there anyone in this family who will place the true victims ahead of themselves? Mercy has it's proper place: with the Rochas. Being merciful to Laci's family = DP for Scooty the scooper, the BS peddler. Her family should not even be put in a position of prostration to a jury. Who cares if Laci was a perfectly lovely lady. Or not. The poor girl and her baby were murdered by the person who should have been their no. 1 trusted defender. This hideous crime speaks for itself.
It'll probably take prison style justice to send this psycho to his permanent eternal home. Arafat is eager for companionship.
They talked about this on CTV today. He got straight Life, so he comes up for parole, but it will never be granted. Scott is up for Life Without, so he would never come up for parole.

I heard today that snot admitted that he had used a blue tarp to load up the umbrellas, and a blue tarp was found in the bay a couple days after he went fishing. I also read that investigators believe he wrapped her body in a blue tarp to hide forensic evidence. I wonder if he ever explained away why a blue tarp was found in the bay, or whatever happened to his blue tarp?
She's had Gloria advising her every step of the way here, I'm sure that all is in good order. The verdict is ironclad, hence the timing of the signing and announcement.

My prayers are with Lacy and Conner's family, especially Sharon. I think it's a travesty that the family of the victims aren't allowed to speak last.
Everything that Peterson's character witnesses have said about him and his "boyscout" persona, could have been said about Ted Bundy.
and that is just the start of his appeals.. I am sure he'll make of more!!

I think they only are allowed to have

Hubby on his way to work in Sacramento this morning was parking his vehicle near the sheriff's office, and as he is about to start walking to the building, a dirtbag jag comes up and asks, good morning, do you happen to have some paper to change for these coins? Hubby says no...no money on me.. then the jag says, well then, I think I will just take all your money...

I'm enjoying KNG and NG's adrenalin-fueled outrage. It's has become a comedy show. Even Sharon seems kind of impervious to the ludicrousness of these testimonies.
I'm prepared to laugh outloud at Jackies' Sarah Bernhardt moment. Kind of like towards the end of a wake, when everybody is releasing sadness and tension with silliness and outrageouness. Then the sorrow will set in again....
