Tim Russert was asking Senator Reid about a symbolic vote Sen. Reid took against a sense of the Senate resolution declaring support for Roe v. Wade. He refused to state he disagreed with Roe v. Wade, citing the fact that his "sister," Barbara Boxer supports Roe v. Wade.

When asked whether it would be a good thing if Roe v. Wade were overturned, he answered, "Oh, I think it would be very, very hard for everybody.

It is very important to note that Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) comes from a very pro-life state, and that is "pro-life" vote was merely symbolic. When given actual power, he runs hard to the left, like former self-professed pro-lifers Daschle, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, and Gephardt before him all did.

Ironically, he then bragged the Democrats don't have a "Specter rule," that leadership has to agree with the party as a whole.

This is pure DNC talking point and focus group research. The democrats are now blaming abortion as the reason for their defeat. So the democrats are trying to say they "oppose abortion but want to keep it legal.

This is about as believable as john kerry's non-support support of homosexual marriage.

This is positioning propaganda for 2006 amd 2008.

A few years ago I watched the Boxster in a debate. She earnestly put forth her idiotic thoughts, then stated loudly, "I know all about this issue; I just read up on it an hour ago."

Whichever way the wind blows...as long as it's left.

i get tired of the left's ad hominem attacks on their enemies, dubya in particular. they said the same about ronald reagan that he wasn't that bright.

both presidents ronald reagan and george w. bush will go down in history as intelligent, great presidents.

the really DUMB person is, of course, baba boxer.

Reid is not off to a very good start. He sounded too programmed with talking points. He is another Al Gore; it was hard for him to be natural. It seemed as if he wanted to attack Clarence Thomas and work to keep the parties divided. Not too smart!

O, he was definitely reading from cue cards! There was a classic Ashley-Simpson moment when he answered the wrong question and caught himself a few seconds later.

I first heard the pukish voice Of Harry Hinie Reid, today, in clips on Rush. He sounds even more putrid than Daschelle.

Everytime we flush a Dem down the toilet, someone over there on the left, drops a bigger, longer and more stinking one in the commode.

Doctor, to use the colloquial, what blows out there is not the wind.

I doubt she even understands the dichotomy in her thought process.
