Yes, my father was class of 1961, he however joined the Air Force as the AFA had not yet opened when he was selected to the Point.
His last duty at the Pentagon where he died at a very young 45 years and now resides in Arlington Cemetery, facing the Pentagon. While some may not understand what I am about to say, but, I think dad would have loved residing under a weeping willow near the shores of the Gulf. He did indeed deserve his final resting place.
