I fail to see how your suggestions can STOP a WMD attack. I honestly, DON'T see how this "REVISED" MAD doctrine will stop an attack either. When you have fanatics hell bent on being a martyr so they can get 72 cherries and a seat at the table with Allah, logic is useless.

Some type of attack in the future will happen. They will want to top 911 and that will mean the use of WMD. We must continue with our preemption doctrine. I heard some reports, that Iran can have a Nuke in 5 months, is that true ? did anyone else hear that report in the news ?

Actually, the race is on in Iran to see if they can develop a nuclear bomb before the people throw the mullahs out. The mullahs know their hold on power is very tenuous, and we could wake up one morning soon and see the name of the country changed from Iran to Persia, with a Democratically elected, pro-West government in place. Let's hope it happens soon.

One of the questions raised repeatedly when Bush announced his WOT was "How will we know when we have won?". My response was that someday, somewhere, a young man would tell his mother, "Mama, I am joining a group that is going to attack the evil Americans.
