The scary part of this, is that CNN actually thinks it should put its so-called "credibility" on the line by posting purely partisan humor as an actual article.

Gosh, d'ya think maybe CNN is rabidly left-biased?

NAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

There are two things going on here.

The first was a hoax claiming President Bush was arrested in Canada, it was shown to be a hoax immediately upon its release.

The second is an event that actually occurred. Some nutball lawyer, striving for her fifteen minutes of fame, in fact filed charges against President Bush in a Vancouver (San Francisco north) court. Some lowly justice of the peace did the paperwork to have these documents accepted by the courts.

Of course this will go absolutely nowhere, but the leftist weenies have managed to embarrass all of Canada once again.

Some whacko up there has threatened to have him arrested, she was on with Medved a few days ago. I'd like to see her try to get through the Secret Service to do it.

It was obviously a joke. But think if it wasn't...think of all of the oil, timber and hunting land that would suddenly (i.e. 2-3 days) be available to the US (courtesy of Boy Scout Troop 554 of Buffalo, NY). Of course, who would want Quebec - but the rest wouldn't be so bad.

Go ahead, arrest away.

I almost wish they'd try something. Just let 'em try to stop us at the border.

CNN, the BBC and Reuters also got duped into aiting an interview with a phony Dow Chemical rep for an interview on the anniversary of a Union Carbide accident in India (Dow didn't own it at the time). He claimed Dow was going to liquidate Union Carbide to pay for compensation to the victims and Dow's stock tanked.

Remember the caller to CNN right after the El al Airlines attack at LAX in 2001? Blaming it on Kenneth? CNN reported the story, saying the shooter was a disgruntled employee, when it was an Arab terrorist who'd sent his family back to Egypt right before attacking - so his familt could receive their $25 grand payoff from Saddam, no doubt.

Amazing how easy it is to run a hoax on the news.
