Updated: 12:58 p.m. ET Dec. 3, 2004MADRID - Several explosions were heard in Madrid on Friday shortly after a phone caller stated that the separatist group ETA had planted bombs in Spain's capital.

At least one explosion happened at a gas station, Spanish media reported.
ETA has been trying to create a separate Basque nation in an armed struggle that has gone on for decades.
Spanish officials initially suspected ETA of being behind the Madrid train bombings of last March, in which dozens were killed. But that bombing was later tied to Muslim extremists.

The train station bombing of 3/11 was also initially reported as the work of the ETA.
This is just another step in the "recovery" of the "Holy Land" of Al-Andalus from the infidel.
