Especially for those deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq, the work is dangerous and the mission is urgent. American servicemen and women are bringing freedom to many and peace to future generations. I remember twelve years ago, I was a freshman in high school and President Bush had just lost to the scumbag Clinton. Anyway, I remember watching the Christmas pagentry at the White House and remembered thinking, "Wow the Bushes are handling this with real class..."

You are up and at 'em early today! Lucky for me.
I watched the last part of the Christmas lighting on CSpan yesterday, and the best part was at the end, watching our President thank the participants. He was having such a good time you could tell he wanted to stay and hang out, but he had to leave so everyone else in the crowd could.
It just made my day. I gee such a kick out of the exuberance and kindness of this man. Another day I sent up a heartfelt "thank you" that George W. Bush is our President.
