Anchorage has spent almost 2 weeks above freezing. YUCK!!
Finally a couple inches of snow yesterday. Fairbanks is always sooooo much colder. Thanks, LadyX, for the web cam. Beautiful shot!

Having days on end in my 3 1/2 years in Fairbanks when the HIGH for the day was 40 below, and hung around 50 below zero, was a challenge!

I adapted surprisingly well, though, after easing into it from my home state of Florida to South Dakota for one year, and THEN Fairbanks!

Still happiest with a tempered climate, and don't care to shovel snow and scrape ice ever again..:))

The worst snowfall here in this part of South Carolina is when in Spring the dogwood trees release their petals, cascading on breezes to the ground..:))
