I agree .. but to add to the fire .. Bill Clinton was paying visits to Canada (because he had a bimbo there), and was only too happy to cultivate a hate-Bush theme with the members of the Canadian govt., namely the then PM.
Oh yes. Clinton also did as much damage as he could in Britian, Russia and India.
However, these leaders were Clinton's Third Way buddies. As were others, like Shroder and Chirac. The consensus to foil and denigrate President Bush as much as possible in the hopes of guaranteeing Algore the ascendancy and later to guarantee Bush was "a one termer just like his daddy" (if I had a nickle for every time I heard that) seemed to have existed before Clinton PUBLICALLY encouraged the anti-Bush sentiment.
