Completely sidestepping the fact that you have no right to try and indoctrinate anyone, especially children, whenever you see fit with whatever you see fit.
You remind me of Marshall Applewhite.
I had to do a Google search to refresh my memory, but I remember the Heaven's Gate mess. Marshall Applewhite and his band of followers were a sad lot, but I am free of the kind of slavery that affects any person who does not yet know the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus offers the gift of His salvation to all. Will you accept His offer today? Today may be your last on this earth.
At the root of all this is identifying the differnce between indoctrination and education.
What makes you so sure Mrs Mayors was doing the former?
For myself, I think the major difference is indoctrination tries to force a pupil to become what you want them to be, and education tries to liberate them to reach the potential that their Creator gave them. Thus they are mutually exclusive goals, and quite often at odds, as I beleive they are in this case, with Mrs Mayors being on the side of education.
