Bravo and best of luck. Your kids will surely need it...and I say this with all due respect.

In your zeal to limit the exposure your children get to the world, you avoid the uncomfortable reality that the milkman, the driver, and all the rest of us can and do express our opinions.

In order to confront those opinions with which we disagree, we need to make sure that we are equipped with the tools of the trade so to speak: practice with dealing with the world.

You make no sense whatsoever! You get terribly upset when liberals spout off in class, then deride someone else for wanting to limit the opinions that his child hears AND imply that he is a bad parent for wanting to do so!

My children don't need your opinion. My children don't need to hear liberals spouting off their opinions either. As a parent, I am MORE than capable of teaching my children these subjects myself.

I have a 14 year old that is starting to read Ulysses and owns well worn US Passport.

My kids do see the real world however, I would prefer that if know of my kids wants to learn about stem cell research that they consult a book written by someone that has a PHD in the field
